Source: Phillies Lead Race For DeRosa

The Phillies are the favorite to land free-agent infielder Mark DeRosa, according to a source.

A dozen or so teams have expressed interest in signing DeRosa, FOX Sports is reporting.

Philadelphia, who declined their $5 million club option on Pedro Feliz, wants to spend between $4 million and $6 million on a third baseman.

DeRosa attended the University of Pennsylvania.
