Sources: Mets Interested In Guillen

New York Daily News - If the Mets can't sign a free agent like Matt Holliday and Jason Bay, they'll try to work a trade with the Royals for Carlos Guillen.

Sources told the New York Daily News of possible trade discussions between the Mets and Royals, but nothing is considered close.

Kansas City wants an inexpensive outfielder in return for Guillen, and New York could offer Angel Pagan. [READ]
