Yankees Will Be Patient With Halladay

New York Post - The Yankees have the talent and money to pursue Roy Halladay, but they'll be patient in their pursuit of the right-hander.

The price tag for Halladay will likely be high. Toronto is expected to ask for a pitcher and position player that can be effective immediately as well as be controlled salary-wise for years.

The rival Yankees and Red Sox are expected to be involved in trade talks for Halladay this winter, and it was reported on Saturday that the Blue Jays called the Cubs to gauge their interest. [READ]
