Rangers Have No Interest In Scutaro

Dallas Morning News - Despite reports to the contrary, the Rangers are not interested in signing free-agent infielder Marco Scutaro.

There were reports that they wanted Scutaro to play third base, the position currently held by Michael Young.

"We haven't inquired about anyone for 3B and have no plans to," general manager Jon Daniels wrote in an email to the Dallas Morning News. "End of story."

The Rangers like Scutaro, but the only place for him in Texas would be as a utility player. [READ]
