Cardinals Will Offer Holliday Arbitration

St. Louis Post-Dispatch - The Cardinals will offer free-agent outfielder Matt Holliday arbitration to ensure that they'll get something in return for him.

By offering him arbitration, St. Louis will get draft picks as compensation should he sign with another team.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Cardinals could look to guys like Xavier Nady or Miguel Tejada if they aren't able to re-sign Holliday. [READ]
