Cameron, Red Sox Nearing Deal

ESPN - The Red Sox have reportedly reached a tentative agreement with free-agent outfielder Mike Cameron on a two-year deal.

The contract is believed to be worth $7 million to $8 million annually.

Cameron will have to pass a physical for the deal to become official.

He would be expected to play left field for Boston.

Cameron has played 1,699 games in center, 139 in right and only three games in left in the big leagues. [READ]
