LaRoche Turns Down $17M From Giants

Post-Gazette - Free-agent first baseman Adam LaRoche has reportedly turned down a two-year, $17 million offer from the Giants.

LaRoche finished the 2009 strong, hitting .347 with 12 home runs and 40 RBIs in August and September.

He was traded by the Pirates to the Red Sox in July and then quickly flipped to the Braves. [READ]
