Schumaker, Cards Reach Agreement

ESPN - The Cardinals and second baseman Skip Schumaker have agreed to a two-year, $4.7 million contract.

The agreement allows the two sides to avoid arbitration.

Schumaker will earn $2 million this season and $2.7 million in 2011.
