Mets To Lower Center-Field Wall At Citi Field

New York Daily News - The Mets will lower Citi Field's center-field wall by eight feet for the upcoming season.

In 2009, the wall was 16 feet high and New York's offense struggled mightily.

The New York Daily News reports that despite the change, Citi Field's spacious dimensions won't be altered.

The Mets hit 95 home runs last season, the fewest in the major leagues by far. [READ]
