Market For Damon Has Picked Up Since Yankees Dropped Out

Detroit Free-Press - Agent Scott Boras says that the market for free-agent outfielder Johnny Damon has picked up since it became clear that the Yankees wouldn't re-sign him.

"We got four or five offers right away," Boras told the Detroit Free-Press.

Boras declined to identify what teams have extended offers to the outfielder, but the free-agent has expressed interest in playing for the Tigers. [READ]
