Desire To Stay In Toronto Has Increased For Wells

The Star - Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Vernon Wells says his desire to stay with the club "has gotten stronger over the course of the season."

Wells said on Monday, when the Blue Jays finished their home schedule, that he hoped to remain a Blue Jay, even though he can become a free agent when his contract expires after the 2007 season. [READ]
