Johnson Passes Physical

East Valley Tribune - Randy Johnson was cleared by the Diamondbacks’ medical staff after a physical exam Monday, when commissioner Bud Selig also signed off on the financial arrangements that will return Johnson to his Valley home with a two-year, $26 million contract.

While Johnson’s physical did not raise red flags, there is a question as to whether he will be ready for the start of the regular season after undergoing surgery in October to repair a herniated disk in his back. [READ]
