Reds Agree On Two-Year Extension With Freel

Yahoo.com - Reds utilityman Ryan Freel agreed to terms Monday on a two-year contract extension that will take him through arbitration and into free agency.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Freel's current contract would have expired after this season, making him eligible for arbitration. Instead, he is under contract through 2009, when he will be eligible for free agency. [READ]
