Damon Sits Against Red Sox With Sore Back, Hamstring

AP - Yankees center fielder Johnny Damon was out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox with a sore lower back and hamstring.

Manager Joe Torre said before the game that Damon would probably not be available. Torre also said that catcher Jorge Posada, who left Friday's game with an injured left thumb, would be available in an emergency. [READ]
