Hughes To Rehab With Rocket

New York Times - Phil Hughes, the 20-year-old rookie who was pitching a no-hitter against Texas last week when he was removed in the seventh inning with a hamstring pull, was expected to be out for four to six weeks. But the injury might not be as bad as first thought.

“Hughes is fine,” Joe Torre said. “He’ll have a rehab start, probably.”

But Torre was not specific about a timetable for Hughes’s return.

Roger Clemens and Hughes will soon be in Tampa together to work out at the team’s training complex and spring headquarters. [READ]
