Giambi Meeting A Month Off

New York Daily News - Because of crammed schedules of lawyers on both sides, Jason Giambi's meeting with steroids investigator George Mitchell won't take place until at least July, according to an Associated Press report.

Meanwhile, the Yankees won't be talking about their teammate's decision to be the first player interviewed by Mitchell. "We've been instructed not to comment," Joe Torre said, adding that "the league through the team" told him the Yankees were not to talk about Giambi's situation.

At a press conference yesterday, Alex Rodriguez replied, "No you may not," when a reporter asked if she could pose a question about Giambi. [READ]
