Rodriguez Won't Waive No-Trade Clause

Bergen Record - Alex Rodriguez will not be waiving his no-trade clause under any circumstances this month.

"It's not even a temptation," Rodriguez repeated.

Injuries aside, A-Rod is determined to let the July 31 trading deadline come and go, knowing that opting out of his Yankee contract this off-season will deliver him to the team of his choosing (probably the Angels) at whatever price he desires (figure an eight-year $200 million package). [READ]
