Steinbrenner Attended Just One Game At Yankee Stadium In 2007

New York Times - George Steinbrenner was missing from Yankee Stadium on Monday for the Yankees’ last regular-season home game. That was not unusual. He missed the previous 79 games at Yankee Stadium, too. In fact, the only home game he attended this season was the opener April 2.

Steinbrenner attended some games in St. Petersburg, Fla., in what for him is his neighborhood park, but he wasn’t in the Bronx yesterday to try to help get his team half a game closer to the Red Sox in the American League East. The Yankees lost to Toronto, 4-1, and dropped to two games back with only six to play. [READ]
