Yankees Interested In Mazzone

Star-Ledger - An official of the New York Yankees who asked not to be identified because current coaches are still under contract said next week's discussions will also include the availability of pitching coach Leo Mazzone. The Yankees pursued the longtime Atlanta Braves coach two years ago, and he chose instead to work for the Baltimore Orioles, who fired him yesterday.

Brad Steele, Mazzone's business manager, told the Baltimore Sun Mazzone would be interested in the Yankees. [READ]
