Yankees Make It Clear A-Rod Is Gone If He Opts Out

New York Times - Brian Cashman reiterated that should third baseman Alex Rodriguez decide to opt out of his contract, the Yankees would not look to negotiate with him and his agent, Scott Boras.

“If Alex Rodriguez opts out of his contract,” Cashman said, “we will not participate in his free agency. That is accurate, and that is definitive.” [READ]
