"It's possible,'' Hank Steinbrenner said Wednesday, adding that the process could extend longer. "We want to get it done as soon as possible.''
A source tells ESPN the Magazine's Buster Olney that it "is a good bet" that the Yankees will name the team's next manager on Friday -- the off day between World Series Games 2 and 3. Teams aren't allowed to announce moves during the World Series, but the Yankees could ask commissioner Bud Selig for permission. [READ] |
