Wang Will Not Get A Long Contract
13th February, 2008 - 9:46 am
New York Post - Chien Ming-Wang's desire to sign a long-term deal with the New York Yankees will not be fulfilled, according to the New York Post.

It also appears as though Wang and the Yankees are headed for an arbitration hearing in the near future.

"I want to," Wang said of signing a multi-year contract. "They told me it's not the time because for pitchers it's hard to stay healthy."

Wang had a Reina Value of +1,942%, as he 'deserved' a $10 million salary, but was paid just under $500,000.
