A-Rod: Jeter Will Have MVP Season

The New York Times - Derek Jeter has never won an MVP during his career, but teammate Alex Rodriguez predicted on Thursday that Jeter will have an MVP season in 2008, according to the New York Times.

Recalling some conversations with Rodriguez on how he spent his offseason, Jeter had this to say, "I’ve done some different things this off-season, trying to get better, trying to improve; that was basically the extent of the conversation. Did a lot of speed. Did a lot of agility. Did a lot of lateral movement. Lot of explosive stuff to get quicker, faster, move around a little bit better." [READ]
