RealGM Staff Report - The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed right-handed pitcher Byung-Hyun Kim to a one year contract. The Pirates have designated infielder Ray Olmedo for assignment.

"Byung-Hyun Kim is a veteran right handed pitcher who has pitched and wants to again pitch, late in bullpen," said Huntington. "He has been tough on right-handed hitters over the past three seasons and had both left-handed hitters and right-handed hitters when he pitched primarily as a reliever.
