MLBPA To Mull Request For More Testing

ESPN - While officials within the MLB Players Association believe that the current drug testing program is "working fine", general counsel Michael Weiner said on Monday that the Union is considering George Mitchell's recommendation for more testing, according to the Associated Press.

"Senator Mitchell recognized that the independent program administrator is a helpful step," Weiner told the AP. "He made some other suggestions as how we can improve the process, and we are discussing those with the commissioner." [READ]
