A's Chavez Iffy For Opening Day

MLB.com - Oakland third baseman Eric Chavez is questionable for Opening Day because of lingering issues with his surgically-repaired back, according to MLB.com.

Chavez had to have an epidural on Friday because of stiffness in the area where the surgery was performed this offseason.

"Yeah, so far it's set me back about three days' worth. I'm not going to worry about it. I'm going to play it day-by-day and see what happens," Chavez said. [READ]
