Jays' Janssen Lost For The Season With Shoulder Injury

Associated Press - The Blue Jays have lost pitcher Casey Janssen for the season with a shoulder injury, as reported by the Associated Press.

The right-hander has a torn labrum. He had tossed just a few pitches in the bullpen prior to throwing in a simulated game Tuesday, when he shut it down.

"He's lost for the year," GM J.P. Ricciardi said. "The good news is he should be totally fine, bounce back, and in four months he will be throwing. Obviously, I don't think it will be enough to help us this season, but we will have him back healthy next year." [READ]
