yahoo.com - The Blue Jays have temporarily shut down B.J. Ryan, who complained of soreness in the forearm and biceps of his throwing arm after a one-inning stint Monday.

Keeping Ryan out of games jeopardizes his chances of being available for the start of the season. The Blue Jays had hoped that Ryan would be ready by Opening Day, but they have decided to take a cautious approach, as reported by Yahoo Sports. [READ]
