Pettitte Scratched From Start With Spasms

The Herald Tribune - Yankees starter Andy Pettitte was scratched from a scheduled minor-league start on Saturday because of back spasms, according to the International Herald Tribune.

Pettitte claims that his back locked up after driving home from the field on Thursday.

"I feel a lot better today than I did yesterday," Pettitte said. "Yesterday the middle of my back was locked up all the way down. Today, I just feel a little tight down in my lower back." [READ]
