Blue Jays Release Reed Johnson

AP - Shannon Stewart appears to have won the job as the Blue Jays’ starting left fielder after the club released Reed Johnson on Sunday, as reported by the Associated Press.

Johnson, who was hitting .289 with three RBIs, had spent his entire career with the Blue Jays.

“I don’t have any hard feelings,” Johnson said. “I don’t have much of a choice right now except to move on. It’s really all I can say.” [READ]
