Cabrera, Duncan Have Suspensions Reduced

The New York Post - Melky Cabrera and Shelley Duncan of the Yankees were given the opportunity to reduce their suspensions by one game on Friday, according to the New York Post.

The players were both originally suspended three games for their role in a brawl with the Rays during spring training.

"The Players' Association and Commissioner's office got together and found common ground, so it's time to serve and move on," GM Brian Cashman said.

Cabrera sat out New York's games on Friday and Saturday, while Duncan will miss contests on Sunday and Monday. [READ]
