Posada May Be Headed To DL

yahoo.com - Yankees' catcher Jorge Posada could be headed to the disabled list after leaving Tuesday’s game against the Royals with right shoulder stiffness, as reported by Yahoo.com.

The Yankees already are without Derek Jeter, who is expected to miss the remainder of the Royals’ series with a strained left quadriceps suffered on Monday.

On Tuesday, Posada felt a recurrence of the stiffness that began to bother him following the Yankees’ season opener last week.

Posada will have an MRI on Wednesday to determine the extent of his injury. He did not sound optimistic following Tuesday’s contest. [READ]
