| 9th April, 2008 - 4:46 pm | MLB.com - Randy Johnson has been penciled in to make his first start of the season for the Diamondbacks on Monday, according to MLB.com.
He would face the struggling Giants if he takes the mound for Arizona on Monday.
"I would think everything's a go," D-backs' Manager Bob Melvin said. "Based on what I heard and the results, it was encouraging going forward."
Johnson is coming off his second back surgery in as many years and gave up three earned runs in six innings of work in a triple-A Tucson start last Thursday. [READ] |
