DL Stint Still Possible For Jeter

The New York Post - Derek Jeter seems to be inching closer to a stint on the disabled list, according to the New York Post.

Out since straining his quadriceps against the Rays on Monday, Jeter admitted that he won't play until he is able to run.

"I'll know more after I go on the field," said Jeter on Friday.

"Because of who [Jeter] is, it is one of those in-between things," GM Brian Cashman said. "It's not a clear-cut DL, but we can't jeopardize him being down long." [READ]
