"Joba, he's one of a kind," Buchholz, who lost to Chien-Ming Wang and the Yankees on Friday night, told Newsday. "When you take the time to get to know him, he's the kind of person who sticks with you."
Chamberlain also became friendly with Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury and outfielder Cameron Maybin, whom the Tigers traded to the Marlins last December.
