Joba Leaves Yanks After Father Collapses

The New York Daily News - Joba Chamberlain will not be with the Yankees when they take on the Rays Monday night after leaving the team to be with his father, according to the New York Daily News.

He left the team on Sunday night after learning that his father collapsed at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska.

His status for the entire series in Tampa Bay is unknown according to Yankee team officials. [READ]
