Toronto's Ryan Earns First Save In Over A Year

Andrew Perna/RealGM - Blue Jays closer B.J. Ryan earned his first save in over a year on Sunday as he recorded the final three outs of Toronto's 5-4 win over the Rangers.

He threw just eleven pitches, allowing one hit.

The Jays activated Ryan before the game eleven months after he underwent ligament replacement surgery in his elbow. He recorded his last save on April 11, 2007. [READ]
