Girardi: Joba's Dad Is Doing A Little Better

The New York Daily News - Joe Girardi said on Tuesday that the ailing father of pitcher Joba Chamberlain was doing "a little better", according to the New York Daily News.

Harlan Chamberlain, 55, remained in critical but stable condition in Nebraska on Tuesday night.

"His father's a little better," said Girardi after speaking with Joba.

"They're still more tests that have to be run," Girardi said. "Joba is by his side, and they're just praying that he gets better quickly." [READ]
