Andruw Jones Wants To Be A Brave?

Former Brave Andruw Jones, who is currently under contract with the Dodgers, would like to call Atlanta home once again.

"I’ve got one more year in my contract," said Jones. "Hopefully, I can come back to Atlanta. I would love to finish my career here."

Jones had a horrendous first year with the Dodgers. He hit .158 with three homers and 76 strikeouts in 209 at-bats before going on the disabled list in early September.

"I’ve been rehabbing, working out again," he said. "I feel good."

Colletti Says Dodgers Hope To Talk With Manny's Agent Soon

Dodgers' GM Ned Colletti said on Wednesday that he hopes to speak with Scott Boras, the agent for Manny Ramirez, in the coming days.

Colletti said that re-signing Ramirez would be one of the Dodgers' top three priorities this winter, along with bolstering the infield and rotation.

"The organization has to do what's best for the organization," Colletti said.

Dodgers Says Reports About Manny Are Off-Base

Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti says that all reports regarding the type of contract the team will offer Manny Ramirez are off-base.

"By the time we get through the weekend, there will be 15 more reports out there that I'll be laughing at," Colletti said.

SI.com reported Wednesday that the Dodgers wanted to offer Ramirez a deal that would come close to matching Alex Rodriguez's annual average salary of $27.5 million but over a shorter period.

The New York Post reported Friday that the Dodgers offered Ramirez a two-year, $60-million contract.

Colletti said the reports were false, claiming that the Dodgers haven't had any internal conversations about the value or length of a deal they should offer Ramirez.

"We intend to meet with Scott some time in the near future and try to see what's on his mind," Colletti said.
