A major league source claims that the Rangers are "unlikely" to land Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay.
Texas is refusing to include left-hander Derek Holland in a package for Halladay, which is just one of the reasons that a deal doesn't appear imminent.
Halladay's remaining salary for 2009, roughly $4.75 million, and the pitcher's no-trade clause raised red flags as well, the source told FOX Sports.
Toronto was asking for Holland, Class AA first baseman Justin Smoak and two other top prospect from Texas.
