Nationals first baseman Dmitri Young is apparently a supporter of the struggling Detroit Lions.

He was seen leaving the team's spring training stadium wearing a Lions T-shirt that said "0-16."

Bowden's Job Reportedly In Jeopardy

Nationals general manager Jim Bowden's job is in jeopardy, according to both team and league sources.

A portion of the team's ownership group is reportedly pushing for the team to fire Bowden because of a federal investigation of his dealings with prospects in the Dominican Republic.

The club's recent struggles are also being considered.

Nationals Will Fire Jose Rijo For Role In Prospect Scandal

The Washington Nationals have made the decision to fire José Rijo, the member of their front office most closely linked to the Esmailyn González fraud, a source with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday.

Rijo, reached Wednesday night, was not yet aware of the firing.

Asked if he'd heard anything, Rijo responded, "No, nothing."
